Now its always been said that there is a time and place for everything and that the thought of wearing track pants would be reserved for days when I do a thirteen hour flight but, I found myself in three different tracks this weekend....
I must say that I once heard on TV that never leave the house looking like crap....you never know who you'll see....unfortunately I'm sure I've failed this rule after a night of murdering my feet on the dance floor...lol....

Low and behold theres is a trend for comfort on the horizon...The theme is a sophisticated, sparkly, edgy, European and oh so desirable......

Don't confuse the basket ball tracksuit with the diva comfort gear...ITS SPORT LUXE! not wear you guys tracks.....or relive BODY BEAT FROM THE EIGHTIES....lmao
Wear a track pant with a fitted bling/print top or an off the shoulder top showing some sexy skin....Wear dangly earrings to add some femininity, bangles or a stunning necklace....

The other option is to wear a denim jkt with the trackpant....Stunning in grey, nude, blk and the Denim look knit....

When buy a track top there are ones coming through with a more feminine feel like lace, a quirky feminine print on the front. Wear with a bootleg denim. and don't forget the accessories the make it more feminine and sexy!

My friend Michelle wore her blk harem track with flat blk gladiators a grey tee and a super cool shrunken stripe military jkt with gold buttons and a stunning chanel-like necklace in gold chain with black ribbon threaded through...now theres a great smart look..well Done...

If you absolutely have to be OVER THE TOP, then pair you track pant with a pair of patent heels or boots , bling tee denim/leather biker and scarf....Oh so chic....and so unexpected.....!
I have a mad obsession with eccentric stockings in winter and I find myself in a 3/4 track with stockings (usually stars or spots on them) and blingish takkies...

OOOh I love me some tracks for Winter......
Remember to keep the silhouette clean and close to the body to keep the focus on the lady lumps....

Power to the People

Now picture a comeback from Dynasty Days....Yes Power Shoulders are Back......
I do belive this is for the truly fashion religious girls who can't wait to sink their teeth in a bite of newness....
But there is something alluring about the power shoulder....It could be the sense of strongness combined with the sexy and edgy take control look.....
I was wearing the power shoulder shirt and a firend laughed and asked me if I was ready to take flight...lol...But my fiance doesn't even bat an eyelid when I put the shirt on..

The power shoulder slims down your waistline and broadens the shoulder line.....If you already have broad shoulders...Steer clear...
Now if you're scared of skinnies then you might have a problem here....it usually works with a slim leg but, I wore it with a skinny kick flare and I loved it...It was so chic..
Now stors have been testing shoulder detail for a while but, it does seem to have taken flight....

I think that it is a difficult sale but, I think it's new and so not "poptart SA"...
A number of different items will come through...Tops with shoulder pads, shoulder trim detail like studs, chains,etc, In jkts with futuristic shoulder details, in fabrics like denim,pleather,etc....

Now I say pucker up and Power to the People....

Now if you never read magazines it's way easy to miss a trend but, if your nose is in one then You can't miss Winter's Biker Chic trend...

Amber- Jade my 7year old niece called me up one night to look in a magazine and try to get her a jkt. Now I was shocked and I must admit that myself, her Mom and My Mom had now offically created a monster.....But, what came as more of a suprise is that she said the denim jkt was like a biker style and I couldn't believe that she came up with that by herself!

As leather and pleather make it into your winter wardrobe there is a strong focus and direction into Biker inspired items. Like I said before Grey is the biggest thing and of course blk BUT, the more feminine execution will be in NUDE, the hottest colour to make its way through the colour wheel....

Here we go with my memories but, Knight rider /The HOF comes to mind when I talk about leather....But lets all face it we still have a thing for the knight rider and the car.....Yeah u do!!!!

Bonus, even thought the hottest boot is the OTK boot (over the knee)....Biker boots makes it entrance.....They r Flat....Bonus for people like me who love flats but still wana be on trend.....

It will almost always be worn with jeans, (hopefully skinnies as my poll indicates none of you r scared of skinnies). This is where torn black jeans come into play.

I think the items in this theme will be very hard for some as it can too bold....BUT I LOVE IT!!!!

And I embrace the sexy side in me.....

Ok Biker Bithches..Go out and Mount your bikes...
